The Gynaecology department of JS Mission Hospital is a well-known centre for pregnancy care, headed by 3 eminent consultant Gynaecologists with the support of well-trained nursing and paramedical staff. Our hospital policy is to reduce the rate of cesarean section as much as possible and to encourage normal deliveries. These surgeries would be recommended only in really indicated cases.

To facilitate easier access for an emergency operation from the labour room, the operation theatre complex is located very much nearer to the labour room. Apart from pregnancy care, we carry out all gynaecological procedures and surgeries such as Removal of the uterus (Hysterectomy), ovarian cyst surgery, tumour removal and sterilization surgeries etc. The surgeries are performed in two methods -The open method and the keyhole method. We carry out keyhole surgeries with advanced laparoscopic instruments and assisted by well-trained staffs. All our gynaecologists are working round the clock every day.
